CM&A is "2020 Construction Team of the Year" for 1228 Madison

On the occasion of the Topping Out ceremony on August 14, 2020 for 1228 Madison Avenue, CM & Associates Construction Management was presented with NYSS's "2020 Construction Team of the Year".

David S. Rose, President of NYSS, lauded the team for its professionalism, noting its dedication to safety, efficiency, cost control and community relations. "From its first shovel in the ground through the final beam being raised today, the CM&A team on this project has served as a prime example of the best of New York City construction management, particularly as the site was interrupted by a months long shut down during the COVID pandemic".

Developed by SK Development the Robert A.M. Stern Architects-designed project is a highly nuanced, boutique scale, exclusive residential building consisting of 14 private full-floor homes, and one duplex penthouse. Deeply rooted in Classical architecture, the façade—comprised of shot-sawn limestone and heathered brick—rises one block from the Guggenheim Museum and Central Park.

NYSS will be arranging for a construction tour of the project later this fall for NYSS members.
